Divorce petition fee

I am a low earner, low enough to qualify for fee remission/ reduced fees of a divorce petition.
But do they take my husbands income into account?
we are still living in the same house but if divorcing then I don’t think he should legally be classed as my partner

No. As he is your opponent it will be based on your income alone.

Thanks collaborate. That’s what I was hoping but after more than 2 decades of everything being joint income it feels very strange to be thinking about sole income.
