eBay and dob etc

Not really happy about giving eBay both my dob and bank details since the split from PayPal.
Is there anything against giving them a wrong dob?
I didn’t used to sell too often but enjoyed selling the odd thing as a little bit of extra cash now and again.

Mony laundering regulations require them to establish your identity. Getting your date of birth is part of this. Giving a false date of birth is a breach of your agreement with eBay. It may also lead to you failing any credit checks eBay run.
