Hope someone can advise. I was caught speeding before Xmas and received a penalty notice but then with a hectic Xmas etc etc I completely forgot about it. This week I’ve received a court summons for none payment of fine. I have of course messaged advising an oversight and admitted guilt for the offence and that I will pay the penalty. Just checking though whether this is going to show on my credit file and whether it will still go through the court process? I’ve googled and can’t see that it definitely will, but there are references to the fact it could do in some circumstances. Thank you!
