Hi all, could anyone shed any light on what a psychological evaluation of both parents would involve within the family court?

Depends on the letter of instruction but broadly whether there is any aspect of their psychological profile that poses a risk to the children, what treatment is available, whether they are likely to comply and how long any treatment would take. For example if therapy is recommended can this be completed within the child's timescales

It depends on what is asked of the psychologist. There are some specific questions sent to them by all parties. Unfortunately, I have gone through this as I had a breakdown during SS involvement due to my ExH. Tell the truth, don't lie. Mine took all day, but that was purely because I was so open, so we had lots to talk about.

Oh and the report highlights concerns and therapy that they would want to see put in place in order to protect the child
