Applying for Probate.

Quick question. Due to bereavement, I will need to apply for probate to access savings in sole name of the deceased.
He had 3 separate accounts in 2 banks.
Will 1 probate document per bank suffice or, do I need to get 3 documents?
I know they're cheap as chips but I'm just trying to get this straight in my head.

One per bank will do it, but l'd still get a couple of spares

I got a few copies. The banks do tend to deal with them quickly and send them back promptly.
