I have a loan sofa from a well-known sofa shop as they messed up my order and left me with nothing to sit on. Eventually after numerous, unreasonable delays, I cancelled the order by writing to the company, messaging them and raising a section 75 claim through my credit card. I ordered from elsewhere and advised the original company that I would dispose of their loan sofa if they didn't make arrangements to collect it. I gave them a month but nothing happened. Its now 6 months later, I still have the sofa but no longer have the space for it. I've queried this again with them this week, and they've finally confirmed my order cancellation, but still no mention of the loan sofa. Any idea what my rights are with regard to selling/binning/ giving away the loan sofa? I'm in Scotland. Thanks!
