Scotland contact/initial writ

Looking for a bit of advice, my ex has submitted an initial writ via his solicitor (Scotland). I am keen to have a court order as it prevents him being able to pick and choose times - our child is 16months now - ex has seen him twice since separation both times he demanded I bring our child to him and he spent no more than an hour with him it was more focused on asking about my life.

He has requested a lot of contact some of which makes no sense for example for him to take him every Wednesday at 5pm though states he works both full time when onshore (8.30am - 4.30pm) and offshore.

He lives an hour away from us.

He isn't helping financially.

What is the court likely to grant? I am happy with weekend contact to start however think it's in our child's best interests for them to build up contact first is it possible to have this requested?

Drug/alcohol and domestic/financial abuse was the reason we separated.
