Both DH and I need to sort this (along with LPAs and severing joint tenancy on the house!).

How much would you expect to pay?

It depends on how complex simple mirror wills - about £250. LPA - financial and medical would be extra.
Complex individual wills with money put into trust etc a lot more.

I paid £99 for a will written. The lady came to my house to draft it then sent Copy for approval before the final draft. To be signed with 2 witnesses

Did my own - 4p to print. Daughter knows where the original is when she needs to send off for probate, which is the only time you need to do anything official with a Will. Mine is straightforward- house and savings to children or their survivors or my nephews or their survivors.

I was just coming in to ask if anyone had used a free online type will kit as a simple instant thing so it’s sorted before doing a more detailed one if needed?
@Kenwouldmixitup did you use an online template or anything or just write what you wanted to say?

I think most of the working and the traditional way wills are written are unnecessary.
