Court hearing date

hello all,
I applied for a stay of possession and was told a judge said a date should be fixed for a hearing. I am still waiting for a date but the lenders/receivers have now just been given a writ of possession.
I hear possession can still go ahead if the court does not give a date for hearing before the possession date.
How can I get a date from the court for a hearing before the election date, please? Is there anything I can do?
Should I go to the court physically to speak to them explaining it's important a date is given for hearing so that I am not evicted with 2 young children? Thank you.

Ring the court.

Send a certificate of urgency in. Many courts though are woefully behind, especially due to staff being off with Covid. Manchester family court is only dealing with urgent children cases right now because of that.

It's usually a certificate by an advocate that the application is urgent and needs listing urgently. Use the case heading and type it out in a plan document.

I will google it, print it & take it to the court myself. My solicitor does not respond on time it takes her days to respond to my email 🤦🏽‍♀️
