How easy is it to change a non-molestation order?

I’ve had to take steps to take one out on my ex. I think it will greatly reduce his custody allowance for the children's safety; which I think will seriously hurt both sides.
I'm hoping that with the right help/change this can alter in time, increasing for them all.

Would this be possible?

You need to apply to the court to have it changed yourself. There will be a hearing where the Judge/magistrates will then decide if it should be altered. If they agree it will be changed.

Does the order cover you and the kids or just you? He can still see the children if it only relates to you. It will just mean you have to go through a third party or relative to facilitate access.

Thank you.

I wonder how I would know he's changed if he can't somehow show me? He can't be trusted as he says one thing and does another.

I'm not sure, I think it will be about them too. When I spoke to the police today they seemed more concerned about how this is for the children. They spoke of referral to some sort of social services thing, for the children too. The emotional abuse has been to all of us.
