Minor charge on dbs certificate - will it be there forever?

I have a caution on my DBS certificate and it is not related to my line of work at all. Would obviously rather it was not there!

Is there any way of appealing or removing?

There is no way of appealing it or having it removed. However, most cautions are removed from a DBS check automatically after 6 years (2 years if you were under 18).
