Divorce. Choosing 3 properties

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have to choose 3 properties I could live in, as part of the divorce process. Unfortunately there are none that are suitable. I'm not being fussy but there's hardly anything in the market and I can't drive, so the search radius is small. What should I do?

I imagine that this is to gauge what amount of cash you would need to house yourself (and children) post split? If so then use 'sold' houses as examples.

Is the purpose of this to provide evidence of the value of the type of property you need in the location you need it, so the financial settlement can be made accordingly? In this case, you’d be able to use recently sold properties as a range indicator.

I checked the wording of the order, it just said suitable properties, not available so I'll pick three that are currently under off. Still not that suitable, so I'll include a couple of lines explaining difficulty

You will be held to the location, value and size of these properties by the judge so choose them extremely carefully. Don't make concessions on any of those things that you can't live with.

If you can't get a property that meets your needs for a particular price that is justification to increase your budget.
