Hi,
I'm looking for some advice please.
I had my second covid vaccine in one if the Chanel Islands, a UK crown dependency, using NHS vaccines and I have my vaccine card and an email from their government to prove that I had it.
Six months later I am still being denied a covid pass by the Welsh government on the basis that they do not have a data sharing agreement with the crown dependency that vaccinated me.
If I was a citizen of the crown dependency who had received a vaccine in the UK all I would have to do is provide a photograph of my vaccine card and some supporting evidence to receive my pass.
I am so frustrated and stressed out by this situation. I travel for work and it has cost me jobs. It is also starting to cause me anxiety as I can see covid passes being used more and more and I worry about being left to fall through the cracks despite being fully vaccinated.
I have been trying to get help for the last six months, I am in near constant contact with the Welsh Health minister's assistant only to be repeatedly told that they are aware of the situation but do not have a solution yet.
I just really don't know what to do.
Is it worth trying to get a lawyer? If so, what kind of lawyer should I contact?
Any advice very gratefully received.
