Will DP ever see DD again?

My DP is having a very difficult time with his DD and ex wife. His wife has poisoned his daughter against him after he left the marriage. She has told her some horrendous lies and she now refuses to see him. He's going to court to get access but what if she doesn't want to see him which I suspect is very likely? She's 11y.

His ex wife is vile. She's told his DD that he abandoned them financially (he was paying for everything), that he doesn't want her and has a new life with my 2 DC (again he doesn't see them), she has shown her all the legal letters...it goes on and on and some of its worse.

He is in a very dark place. He just wants a relationship with his daughter. Is that ever going to happen? What can the court do to reverse the parental alienation?

Unfortunately my DSs ex did this. So OP, our experience tends to show that even if he goes to court the mother can breach orders with impunity as long as the child is well looked after. Courts won't remove a child unless there are safety concerns. Parental alienation isn't looked at closely in this country. Keep copies of all messages, emails, official letters. Otherwise no advice I'm afraid, maybe someone will be along with some better advice...
