Deed poll - enrolled vs unenrolled

I'm looking to change my name after marriage, and I believe that as I want to add my maiden name as a second middle name then that will need a deed poll to change. Are there any advantages from doing an enrolled deed poll? I've been looking online and from what I can tell the DVLA don't require an enrolled deed poll and when you have an updated driving licence, that will act as proof of name for anything else. I don't want to go through a longer and more expensive process for no good reason, but also don't want to get caught out on something further down the line.

I've just changed mine via unenrolled. There's wording on the gov.uk website for you to do a statutory declaration which you'll need two witnesses for. No issues with my 2 bank accounts or anywhere else so far. Enrolled is a little outdated, especially as the majority of the fee is for it to be published in the London Gazette.

Great, I found this website which will generate a pretty official looking certificate and takes care of the legal wording. Thank you 😊
