Hi, does anyone know who I can contact to find out if someone has used my address (without permission) for a legal matter?

If you think you’ve been the victim of identity theft you can contact CIFAS to apply for a protective registration.

If that’s not your question, can you be more specific as to what you mean by somebody using your address for a legal matter? Why do you suspect this? Who do you suspect? What’s the context?

Thank you for responding. Do you mind if I send you a private message through here to explain the details? I just need someone impartial to talk this through. Tried to contact CAB today but was put on hold for hours and cut off numerous times.
