Legal ombudsman for conveyancing

Has anyone experience of referring a solicitor to the LO for conveyencing issues?

Long story short, transfer of equity going on for nearly 6 months, doesn't update etcetc, my mortgage offer is due to run out in the next couple of weeks, I'm at my wits end! Have already complained via email several times to a partner, nothing changes.

Don't waste your time with the legal ombudsman. Useless incompetent organisation. Your case will be with them for a lot longer than 6m and the end result will be laughable. Plus they make you follow the conveyancers internal complaints procedure to the very end before they can consider accepting your complaint
