SPIP Facilitators

I wondered if anyone here runs SPIP courses (Cafcass) and might be able to tell me how/where to train to run them? I have the correct professional qualifications required I believe but Cafcass are being very slow in getting back to me and I'm impatient to find out! Thank you!

I haven't run one myself, but a former colleague did the arrangements. I've seen providers bid to Cafcass to put them on and then it's those organisations who would arrange personnel. Bigger providers may have several individuals they use. So one way would be to contact them directly (see Cafcass website) and ask about vacancies.

When I did mine, it was facilitated by a Charity. You'd be better of working for someone who facilitates the programme.

Thank you both. I'm really wondering who provides the training for the facilitators. I have contacted a couple of the charities who run them (and Cafcass) but it's deep in the holidays and I've had no reply yet (and I am impatient ;-) )
