We have had a nanny for 3 years. My youngest daughter starts reception in September and we are looking to reduce her hours. She isn't happy with this and wants to stay on the exact hours she is on now which isn't really possible or necessary. We have endeavoured to reach a comromise by offering her additional hours to undertake some housekeeping tasks but not up to the full hours she is currently working.

So we have proposed a reduction of hours but the job still remains yet she doesn't wish to accept it - is this a redundancy situation?
