Divorce & Financial - Overseas husband can't be traced

Hello all, I'm after some Divorce advice for DSis as she's not on MN.

She seperated from H years ago, he was born overseas (she was only there with him a short time), she was born and lives in UK, has always lived here apart from that short time. H has never lived in UK.

Can't seem to trace him, I've tried too. I know Divorce form D8 has to be completed but, what are the forms/form numbers that have to be attached re being unable to find him?

Also DSis doesn't want him to try to claim assets should he ever resurface in future. They didn't have children, she doesn't own a home but our parents do own land abroad which is due to be passed on probably sooner rather than later and it's worth quite a bit.

As he can't be found, wondering how DSis could pursue preventing him making any future financial claim such as land, pensions etc

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

All seemed as simple as just completing Form D8 as it's 5 years+ separation but as we've discovered, alas not..!

You don't say which country they married in but I think that's relevant?
