I was issued with a fixed penalty notice of £100 with 3 points - my first ever points. I paid it but didn’t send off my license. It was a stupid mistake.
I’ve just noticed that I’ve been refunded. Google has told me that because I didn’t comply in full I should expect a court summons.
Is there anything I can do now to correct my error? If I go to court what is the likely outcome? I will plead guilty.
Will the court be interested in mitigating factors? My life was chaotic at the time due an unexpected change in my personal life.
