Does anyone know If I cancel a child maintenance claim will I be allowed to claim it again in the future if I change my mind?

You can make another claim in future, but you cannot backdate that claim.

Why do you want to cancel it?

My ex is not involved and I don’t need the money (it’s only £7) I would rather be without it but just want to make sure I could open it again if I change my mind in the future (unlikely but you never know)

It’s probably easier just to leave as is. Give it to the DC as pocket money :-)
