Mine took 5 hours, last month.

sadonfriday · 25/03/2021 19:45

It’s delayed at the moment (consent order)

Outbutnotoutout · 25/03/2021 19:47

Seriously @Titslikepicassos

That's amazing 👏

I'm a bit confused by it, she has a solicitor, I'm assuming as soon as she can (6 was 1 day) she will apply. And then as soon the DA comes through she can have her money.

I had an automated email from the court at 00:01, I applied for it around 3am and it was granted at 09:01. I was most impressed

I suppose there could be a delay if your ex has a solicitor though and has to rely on them applying!

Outbutnotoutout · 25/03/2021 19:55

Hmmmm

Might pass this on, it's my partners exwife

It's best practice to wait at least until the Consent Order is sealed before applying for the DA. If there's a pension share in the order, you should wait 28 days from the date the CO was sealed.

Outbutnotoutout · 25/03/2021 20:01

No pension share, she is getting a lump sum.

When will we hear about the consent order being sealed?

When the Judge has approved/sealed it and the Court office has processed it and sent it out. Timescales will depend on where you are and what level of backlog your Court is dealing with. Generally speaking, if the CO was submitted online it's usually quicker than when it's sent in on paper.

Outbutnotoutout · 25/03/2021 20:10

So DN came through and they applied for the consent order straight away, so nearly 5 weeks ago
