How to find a solicitor?

I am living overseas and we have two Uk properties and a business. My DH passed end of last year and I now need to sort the will and probate etc.
How do I find someone who can work with me being overseas? And not rip me off.
All in London

The Law Society has a Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme

Please ignore my ignorance.

It’s an accreditation scheme. Solicitors have to meet certain criteria to join the panel.

You can search here by practice area / location: solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk/

I have had great advice from Daniel Berry at https://www.vincentsykes.co.uk

Really very helpful fast turn around and absolutely knows his stuff. Good luck

Look for a solicitor with a STEP (society of trusts and estate practitioners) diploma. Also make sure it's someone with experience of cross border estates as there may be some quite technical tax issues.
