Hi All,
My partner has a 12 year old boy who was born in Poland to a Turkish father.
The father has had no contact with the child from birth (his choice), but has continued to pay what the Polish court ordered him to pay (circa 100 pounds per month since 2009).
My partner thinks that he should pay more as 100 pounds in 2009 if of course worth less now than it was then, also she thinks it's unfair the bulk of the costs for brining up the child sits with the stepfather rather than the father.
We don't need the money, and whilst a bit more would help, my partner feels it's a point of principle that the father should pay at least a fairer share.
My partner and I live in the UK and the Polish courts have said if she would like to apply for more maintenance this would now have to be via the UK system.
My question is do we direct this request at REMO, the CSA or where please?
