Good Family Lawyer?

Can anyone recommend a good family lawyer please. I have contacts at smart Mayfair type legal firms but I'm not Paul McCartney and I'm up against it financially.
Have separated 2 years ago from wealthy narcissistic ex partner-not-husband with whom I have a DD. He is such an abusive controlling bully we have never been able to agree re money and schedule for DD. He harangues and harasses me daily and I need to break free from our terrible cycle.
I am in london and really would appreciate any recommendations for firm but fair family lawyers. Thank you!

How wealthy is he? Recommendations will depend on that.
You can require him to find your legal fees under well established procedures/case law.

He is wealthy in terms of property and assets and money in the bank. Not in terms of income now. Money is a trigger for him and because we don't have an agreement in place, there's permanent conflict over anything to be paid for our DD. He pays our rent but often threatens to stop and also turns up at our home constantly. I'm done. I will apply for him to pay my fees but need legal help to get there and to file an application
