Inheritance question

Hi, I'm due some inheritance and had to fill in a form for my solicitor with bank details and Id that she received yesterday morning as its now ready to be paid. Does anyone know when this may be paid? She said it would be via bacs so was hoping it would be soon? Thankyou

If we got the stage when we're asking for bank details then we're ready to make payment now. Firstly we would ring you to verify those details and then we'd arrange the payment. BACS can take up to three working days but you're nearly there.

(It is possible that if there are several beneficiaries, the solicitors may wait until they've received and verified everyone's details and then do them all at the same time.)
