Urgent advice regarding CAFCASS

Hi all.
Does anyone know that during FC proceedings if you have to tell the other side that you have contacted CAFCASS or be transparent with you communication to them?

Cafcass will get in touch with both parties/both sides so no, you don’t need to tell the other side you’ve spoken to them.

I don’t know what you mean by the transparency part of your question though. Did you mean that you’re wondering if you need to let the other party know what you’ve said to Cafcass?
If so then no, they will write reports and talk to both/all parties and will share key info with everyone including the court.

Thank you - yes my exes Solicitor has asked for all of my communications to CAFCASS, but I would have thought my ex could contact the family court adviser from CAFCASS !

Wow he’s a gem isn’t he! He won’t be able to force you to hand over communications to Cafcass.

if he isn’t happy with something Cafcass are saying or reporting, he needs to raise it with them. Do you have legal representation?

Remember his solicitor will write any old shite to you.. It isn't a legal requirement unless a judge orders it.
Exh had his solicitor write and demand I remove my new blinds as they prevented exh seeing in my windows. I kid you not.
And no I didn't remove them...

Well the latest twist is now him and his Solicitor have asked for an independent social worker to do the Section 7, jointly instructed and jointly paid!!! and NOT cafcass!! how can they even ask for that !! cafcass have huge concerns relating to safeguarding with him so it absolutely must be them that do the section 7, they've been nothing but impartial between us.
