Physiological assessment ment

Hi all

I have name changed for this and won’t be posting much detail as I don’t want to get into a debate, but am hoping someone can help me with a recommendation.

Basically I am having a nightmare in family court. A physcological assessment was ordered by court and the report that’s come back is awful. It was based on mainly what cafcass had said and a couple of other physiologist who have looked over it have said it’s an awful report but they can’t put anything in writing due to conflict of interest.

Basically I need someone to look over the report and then tell me if court should be beating decisions around contact based on its contents or if it is indeed a flawed report so that I can then bring this up in court.

I am aware it’s likely to cost me a couple of thousand pounds. (It will need to be someone who accepts credit cards unfortunately)

If anyone can recommend someone I could use or message me for details it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

In what way is it awful? As I you dont agree with it or wasn't done by a professional?

Needsomehelpxx · 10/11/2020 16:32

Both

I don’t agree with it, and have been told that the recommendations made to court in no way tally up with the contents of the report, and the opinions formed aren’t actually relate d to what the rest of the report says.

I really don’t want to go into specifics here as if my ex or their lawyer see it it will be very obvious.

It’s a million miles away from being my area of expertise so I really do need some professional input so if anyone can recommend someone, or even help themselves (paid obviously) that would be brilliant

I'm a bit confused as to why another psychologist interpreting it differently would be a conflict of interest? I think that's the best route to go down surely?

Needsomehelpxx · 10/11/2020 16:44

Because I know them personally. My ex knows I know them, and so does her lawyer, so they would have it discredited. So need someone else to look at it and let me know their opinion

I would ask them for independent recommendations.

@RedHelenB

I would ask them for independent recommendations.
Thanks. I did. Those people are all busy, hence asking here

Ok. Maybe you need to give a rough location ?
