Is a will invalidated by a civil partnership ? Mother in law and partner had a mirror will made up prior to having a civil partnership would they need to make a new one?

Unless the Wills were made in contemplation of the marriage or civil partnership then yes it is now invalid and they will die Intestate unless they do new wills
