Choosing nurseries - parental responsibility

Currently in court with my ex over child contact and also deciding on what nursery to send our 2 yr old dc to. I've sent him 3 nursery options over a week ago to look at and decide which he likes, I also sent him a reminder email to which he responded saying he hasn't had a chance to look at them and doesn't know when he will.

When would it be responsible for me to just make a decision? Should I remind him once more, to be honest I really don't won't to contact him again, he has and continues to be abusive but as we are still in court I don't want him to make it seem like I'm cutting him out of these decisions. Would two emails seem reasonable in a judges eyes?
