When Furlough Finishes

When furlough finishes I am hoping I am one of the lucky ones going back to work to an industry that has really struggled and will take a long time to recover from COVID

What I want to know is does anyone know if my boss can reduce my working hours ?

If there is a flexibility clause allowing them to make changes, they can reduce your working hours. If there isn't, they need your consent (or the agreement of the union if there is one) to reduce your hours. If they can't get agreement, they could dismiss you and re-employ you on the new terms. However, if they go down that path you may have a case for unfair dismissal if you've been working for them for at least 2 years.
