Been advised this might be an option to stop ex partner giving notice on a joint private rental. Does anyone know more?
Fixed term due to end soon.
Ex is violent and has moved out. No rent arrears, paying it in full but landlord doesn't want a single tenant. Under Covid regulations landlord has to give 6 months notice to protect tenants from eviction during the pandemic. Ex partner only needs give 1 month.
