Hi,
I'm just after any advice on what to expect at the hearing we are having as my partner's mum wants to see our children. We don't wish for her to have any contact with either us or our children and have been pretty much no contact since last year.
My partner has written a lengthy statement with his reasons. I back him 100%.
Has anyone here been in this situation and if so, can anyone offer any advice as to what happens? The hearing will be held remotely due to covid.
Thank you in anticipation.

I believe grandparent access depends on prior relationship. So if she’s never had any contact with your children she has no chance. If she had a prior relationship with them then I think it’s more murky and is on a case by case basis
