Deed of trust solicitor

Hi,

I am purchasing a house with my partner and I am putting in a large deposit which I want to protect (he always wants to ensure I’m fully protected as I was seriously burnt by my ex in the same situation)

I’ve been quoted £250 to draw this up from the firm doing our conveyancing, does this seem reasonable? Does anyone else perhaps have recommendations of anywhere else?

Thanks

Not unreasonable. sounds like it's around an hour's worth of work. They will need to speak to you both about the options and include it in the TR1 at least. If it's a separate deed of trust they propose to do it's an absolute bargain.

Thank you
