Blocking a website/Facebook page

I'm really not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but this seems like the best bet.

I keep getting notifications from a Facebook page called Healthy House

I don't remember signing up to them - but given my interest in low carbing specifically, and health generally - it's not surprising that I might have clicked on a link from them, or looked at one of their facebook pages.

But they keep sending me notifications, which I'm finding very irritating. And I can't turn them off. I've left their facebook page, sent them messages on facebook, tried to send them messages on their website - but their contact link on their website doesn't work - and also tried messaging them on twitter.

Nothing has worked.

Is it not illegal to keep spamming people like this?

Given that their contact page on their website doesn't work, and there seems to be no other way to contact them, what do I do?

There should be 3 dots top left of the advert. Click them. Also check ad preferences under settings. I won't click the link thanks.....

Go on to the settings for your browser (usually in “preferences”) and there should be something for notifications. You can turn them on or off.

It wasn't a spam link @TARSCOUT! And actually, nor is it an ad - I know how to get rid of those.

But thanks @Collaborate - I've found the notifications page and set it to 'deny'. I had thought to do the notifications on my phone but it never crossed my mind that there would be on on my laptop too Blush

Hopefully that will work. I know that in the great scheme of things it's a minor matter, but it has been so irritating!

Yes - it’s device specific (or rather browser specific).
