I have also posted elsewhere as wasn't sure where this should come under!

Has anyone had any experience of co-parenting with an ex who works shifts? Briefly, I believe he is a narcissist and it's looking like we are going to have to go down the mediation / court route.

Ex works shifts, he only get 8 weeks in advance. Doesn't share his shifts with me so dictates when he wants DD. If I say no that doesn't work for us then I am 'being unreasonable', or 'blocking contact'.

I was wondering what the courts would say in regards to contact and the fact he works shifts?

My friends dd had this problem with her ex. It went to court - and the court decided that ex had to provide shift details one month in advance owith him marking the days he was available for contact - he was given 2 consecutive overnights each fortnight and one day during each week. There was a bit of wiggle room for negotiation.

Meant the child's mum found it difficult to plan far ahead - judge stated that ex's contact took precedence and that his work made regular set contact impossible.
