Recommendations for fair, good Mediators please??

Hello MNs,

Going through non - amicable separation.
Finding it hard to find a Mediator.

Shuttle Mediation probably best as Ex will probs go into a speech about how flawed and evil I am,what HE wants etc.
Need a Mediator who will see through him hear me out. Ex tends to win people over.......

My solicitor recommended local mediators to me. I had a good idea of what was fair from my solicitor before I went which would have helped had ExH actually bothered to engage.
I felt they were fair in my initial meeting, but it was hard as there is no one on your side.

You need to read up on what a mediator is there for. You don't need to win them over. They are there to facilitate a discussion and absolutely should not be giving any advice to either of you.
