My Ex has been resident parent for 3 years now but sons attendance is as the judge said "as bad as he had seen in 15 years" Back in court now to change arrangment order. Section 7 has recommended 50-50. If I am responsible for getting him to school 3 days a week, does that mean I will be main address at school? She has made no attempt to get kids to school or even communicate with them. She has been fined twice in last 2 years because of attendance. Also other issues and I want to know even if 50-50 is there always one parent who has priority for interaction with school, doctors etc. I need that to be me going forward. Is there always one main residence on childs school records?
Thank you for reading

No-one should have priority as far as the school is concerned. They should always treat everyone with parental responsibility equally regardless of the living arrangements. The same is true for doctors and other official bodies.
