Decree Nisi - Financial order timeline

Looking for a bit of advice/opinion please.
Our Decree Nisi is due in court on Thursday. I cannot see any reason why it would not go though as it is quite straightforward.

We have a financial settlement/consent order being drawn up by a solicitor at the moment. Simple 50/50 money and kids - no assets. When can this be submitted? Is it right after the hearing or do we have to wait until something else happens? I suppose I mean after the hearing do I have to wait for anything else to be granted before we can get the financial order submitted? I just need this to go through URGENTLY as I am waiting to buy a house so wondering how long it is likely to take.

They can do the financial paperwork straight after the nisi. My solicitor is working from home and started the financial paperwork within the same week the nisi was agreed in court.

I submitted mine after I got the nisi through. Key part is don't proceed to absolute until financials are done.

I didn't have children but my solicitor told me is much harder to get the financials agreed if the absolute is awarded.

It can be submitted now. It's just that the order cannot be made until after the date for decree nisi. If the judge approves the order before nisi they will put a note on the file to say the judge who pronounces nisi should make the financial order straight afterwards.
