Serving non mol application

I applied for a non mol as my stbxh has told me he was and is still recording and videoing me in my room. I also found him outside my room listening to telephone conversations and he lets himself into my room when I am not there, he has a key. We have separate bedrooms.

The court have sent me 2 copies of the non mol application, notice of hearing and my statement.

I understand I can't serve them to him myself but it needs to be served in person. I don't have a solicitor and a process server could be costly. Can I ask a friend to serve him? He has a solicitor, can I email the documents him? Or serve his solicitor in person? Which might be difficult with the virus and he's working from home. Any other ideas please.

Thanks

If you have a solicitor they will do it. If not, you can ask the court to serve the documents.
