Having spent 3 years fighting to get my children back from my violent, abusive, drug addicted ex, yesterday it was all over. I didn't get to go to final hearing I feel like he's beaten me all over again.
He has been in front of the Judge high and intoxicated but she made excuses for him, he could do no wrong in her eyes. She started a final hearing two and a half years ago but relisted it for a different date, she fell ill the night before the new date and it wasn't relisted or given to a different Judge. My children have suffered serious emotional harm due to the most harrowing 3 years. My legal aid has come and gone and when I was a litigant in person she ignored me completely. She dismissed the 15 years of domestic violence my ex subjected me to, the fact we were moved on a MARAC and the fact he failed so many hair strand tests. Whether she is corrupt, biased or just hated me I need to make a stand against her and the family court process because too many family court Judges are hiding behind their powers.
