House purchase-paperwork

Last summer I was in the fortunate position to buy a house without needing a mortgage.
All went very smoothly, we completed, I picked up the keys and moved in.
I have just realised (after looking for unrelated documents!) that I have no paperwork at all to prove I am the owner of this house.
This doesn't seem right and I will contact my solicitor but I wondered if anyone could advise what documents I should have (if any).
Many thanks.

I don't either! Just check it has been registered with Land Registry which will cost you £3.

there is no paper.
as pp go to the land registry website and download it (and print for your papers)

the solicitor should have given you a certificate of completion though.

Thank you. I have applied for a copy from the land registry.
