Organisation A cocked up my pension payments and need to correct this. However, they have been saying for 3 months that they need the original payroll claim forms to do so, and they have been sent "off-site" to Organisation B to be microfiched. Organisation B have had problems and have a huge backlog with no realistic date for when this might be completed. Organisation A say they can't hurry this up or retrieve the paper copies; at the moment they also won't tell me who Organisation B is.
I am hoping that if I make a SAR I can get hold of the forms myself, give them to Organisation A and get this mess resolved.
So today I verbally told A this is what I intend to do. My question is, is it sufficient to formally make the SAR to A? Do they have to retrieve the information that B are holding on their behalf? Or do I also need to persuade them to tell me who B is, so that I can also make a SAR directly to B?
