Is it legal for a juror to contact a defendant who was found not guilty after the trial has finished ?

Why would you?

I wouldn’t have thought so. But why would you?

It's illegal to reveal what was said between members of the jury.

  • I think.

As PP have said, there is nothing in place stopping contact once the trial has finished, but you are still bound to not discuss anything that happened in the deliberation room. If there is a chance of an appeal or retrial etc, I personally wouldn’t take the chance.

Considering the case can't be discussed then not a good move.
