Can someone submit a second statement

Asking for a friend

In family court. She was asked to file a statement on X date and did.

Other party was asked to turn one in by X date they did.

However my friends statement is awful. She had no help and it has no supporting facts or anything. Final hearing next and she's not been allowed any interim contact yet so it isn't looking good.

Not without leave of the court, but a letter to the judge requesting leave together with the second statement should mean she'd get permission.
