We are due back in court end Jan for our access case. Ex wants access after 2 years of no face to face contact. We are undergoing a Section 7 at the moment. In my meeting the officer seemed shocked that DS received nothing for Easter or his birthday from Ex or his family this year (but he did last year). I was sure that with this case now active and requested by him, that there would be at least an Xmas card through the door for DS (last year Exes father turned up Xmas day with cards and presents - have heard nothing since).
There was NOTHING!
Would you have expected something for our child?
Should I contact CAFCASS to inform to add to their statement or wait until I do my response to their new recommendations?
