Difficulty with divorce petition

Very long story so to try and cut it down a bit, my partner and his wife ended their relationship 6 years ago. She refuses to provide an address for divorce because she thinks she will end up with the bill. She won't. There are no children or assets.

We applied to dispense with service after doing the usual things to try to obtain an address and we were given a court order to serve to an alternative address that they provided instead. Our attempt to give her work address was rejected by the judge. We used this address provided by the court. No response but tracking shows she signed for it.

Wrote to the court again to apply for deemed service and provided proof.

Judge orders that "the petitioner appears to have falsely declared that there are no cases relating to the marriage"

What does this mean as we haven't made any other applications etc just the one we have been working on for four years that keeps being returned to us with a no.

It means that the judge believes there is some other action in progress. This doesn't have to be divorce. It may be proceedings related to property or children. If there really is nothing else in progress this is a mistake.
