Suspended Sentence

If a sentence is suspended for five years what, is the effective date.

the date from which it was placed on the roll, being postponed every time for two years or the date of the sentencing?.

If you’re talking England I believe it would be five years from the date of sentencing at court.

You can't have a 5 year suspended sentence order in England and Wales (not sure about Scotland). Here It's maximum 2 year custodial sentence with maximum 2 year suspension.
