Please can anyone tell me if there is a time limit to enforce a costs order (arising from a divorce application)?

Thanks

How long ago are we talking about?

DPs decree nisi came through this week. There is a costs order for the application fee however his ex partner has said she does not want to pursue him for the costs (as she misunderstood what the question was asking on the application and is happy to pay). We just wondered if we (she) needs to tell the court this or if the order will expire in its own right should she not pursue payment?

Thanks

Can you ring the number attached to if you do an online divorce and quote your case number or the court it is under? They are really helpful whenever I have phoned.

I would just leave it rather than seek a change to the order by consent which would involve a fair bit of work on your and her side and need court approval and sealing by the court of an amended order particularly as I think this is about just the court fee rather than the huge costs of people's lawyers that most of us think "costs" means in divorce.

It is just the court fee

Yes it's just the court fee
